چکیده
0 Abstract The paper focuses on revealing the salient structural aspects of a new transmission-line model with a view to exploiting them for gains in efficiency and accuracy. The new transmission-line model has as its basis the Telegraphers Equations but the manner of solution is what distinguishes the new approach from existing transmissionline simulation techniques. The technique is based on identifying natural modes of oscillation on the transmission line. The result is a model structure which can be tailored to the accuracy requirements of a simulation and which is amenable to tuning to fit measured admittance data.

Metal mesh couplers using optical tunneling effect at millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths - Microwave Symposium Digest, 1994., IEEE MTT-S International
A new metal mesh coupler that makes use of a tunneling effect of evanescent waves between a metal mesh and a dielectric plate, has been proposed as a quasi-optical component for millimeter and submillimeter wavelengths. Theoretical calculation and experimental measurement performed from 40 GHz to 60 GHz show that the transmittance of the coupler can be changed more than 50 % for the variation o...
متن کاملHilbert fractal curves for HTS miniaturized filters - Microwave Symposium Digest, 2004 IEEE MTT-S International
This work presents novel compact High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) microstrip resonators based on Hilbert fractal curves. Their miniaturization performance has been investigated, emphasizing the parameters which allow to obtain a good trade off between compact size and quality factor. Hilbert resonators with different arrangements have been designed and assessed by using full wave simulator...
متن کاملTransmission switching cost modeling and determination candidate Lines for participation in joint energy and reserve markets
There is a great resolution calling for smart grids in recent years. Introduction of new technologies, that make the network flexible and controllable, is a main part of smart grid concept and a key factor to its success. Transmission network as a part of system network has drawn less attention. Transmission switching as a transmission service can release us from load shedding and remove the co...
متن کاملHarmonic balance algoritlun to model nonlinear effects in HTS filters subject to cdma signals - Microwave Symposium Digest, 2003 IEEE MTT-S International
We discuss an Haimonic Balance algorithm to analyze High Temperature Superconducting Circuits (HTS) subject to wideband signals, such as t h e ones used in C D M A wireless systems. Undersampling is used to discretize and down-convert t h e bandpass signal resulting from the weak HTS nonlinearities, and this has to b e taken into account when performing t imedomain calculations of the nonlinear...
